Does the 80/20 rule also apply to Big Data?
The 80/20 rule means that 80% of the revenue comes from 20% of a company’s customer base. The development of a reporting or performance measurement system consists of two parts. Firstly data is prepared; secondly, information is transformed into a format which can be understood by the user. This principle also applies when using Big Data technologies.
