Bastiaan Deblieck is the Business Unit Manager of TenForce’s Semantic Technology unit. This unit delivers advanced content and metadata management solutions. Educated as a linguist and with more than 20 years of international experience in the IT industry, Bastiaan is the ideal person to present business relevant aspects of content & date processing. Bastiaan is a co-founder of TenForce; in previous positions he was a business analyst, project manager and business development manager. He is able to translate a high-level vision and innovative technology into a pragmatic approach that guarantees results. He has been delivering services to and working on projects for the European Commission, Wolters Kluwer, Belgacom, Group 4 Securicor, AXA, and many more.

TenForce has been successfully implementing software solutions that are the backbones for content and data processing for over a decade now. TenForce Projects are ranging from the "old SQL and XML ways", to the current RDF era, but also preparing for the future as being a member of the FP7 funded LOD2 project.
As a result, TenForce has developed methodologies, tools and strategies in order to efficiently process multi-format, complex and non-structured data, including data capture, cleansing, storage, search, sharing, analysis and visualization. TenForce will share insights coming from actual projects for government, multimedia publishing, B2B publishing and banking.
